Worked on enhancing terminal emulation within the ghidra repository by delivering improvements to VT buffer scrolling. Focused on refining the handling of scroll regions and adding support for the Horizontal and Vertical Position (HVP) escape sequence, the work ensured that vertical scrolling occurs during VT buffer wrapping regardless of cursor visibility. This approach improved reliability in edge cases and enhanced compatibility with VT100 and ANSI standards. The implementation was carried out using Java, leveraging back end development and software engineering skills to address nuanced terminal behavior and provide a more robust user experience for terminal emulation scenarios in ghidra.
