Worked on the CrunchyData/postgres-operator repository to enhance resource metrics reporting and streamline CI/CD processes. Addressed a bug by removing explicit divisors for CPU and memory in the Downward API configuration, standardizing resource metric values to bytes for improved compatibility with downstream monitoring systems like pgMonitor and CPK Metrics & Monitoring. Developed a feature to update the test.yaml workflow, ensuring pull request checks target the latest supported Kubernetes versions and maintain ongoing compatibility. Utilized Go and yaml within a cloud native, DevOps-focused environment, demonstrating attention to system administration best practices and traceable, business-driven improvements in both monitoring and testing workflows.
