Worked on the snowflakedb/snowflake-kafka-connector repository to enhance test coverage for Snowpipe Streaming Ingestion with Kafka, focusing on schema evolution and the lifecycle of interactive tables. Developed and delivered an integration test in Java that validated both schema evolution and the creation and evolution of interactive tables within the Kafka integration workflow. Emphasized database integration and robust testing practices to strengthen end-to-end validation of the Kafka-to-Snowflake data flow. This work increased the resilience of the test suite by targeting interactive schema evolution scenarios, ensuring more reliable streaming ingestion pathways and supporting ongoing improvements in data pipeline reliability and maintainability.
