Filip Ochnik focused on modernizing the CI/CD pipeline for the snowflakedb/snowflake-connector-python repository by upgrading the snyk-issue.yml workflow to leverage newer GitHub Actions versions. Using YAML and CI/CD best practices, Filip standardized secret variable names across workflows, which reduced configuration errors and improved overall security. This work enhanced build reliability and maintainability, laying a foundation for future security tooling integrations such as Snyk. Although no critical bugs were addressed during this period, Filip’s efforts centered on strengthening the build process, improving traceability, and enabling faster, safer releases through more robust and compatible automation infrastructure within the project.
