Developed and delivered a new 'whoami' command for the Snowflake-Labs/sansshell repository, enabling users to view detailed identity information such as username, certificate issuer, validity, and group memberships directly from the CLI. This feature was implemented using Go and leveraged mTLS to securely extract and present authentication context from the current credential source. The work focused on enhancing authentication visibility and simplifying troubleshooting by making user identity explicit within the command-line interface. By validating the feature end-to-end, the developer improved support workflows and incident diagnosis, demonstrating proficiency in CLI development and secure communication protocols within a Go-based environment.
