During the month, contributed a security and compatibility enhancement to the chanzuckerberg/happy repository by implementing a cookie_samesite option for the happy_sticky_session cookie across multiple Terraform modules. This feature, developed using Infrastructure as Code principles and HCL, allows precise control over the SameSite attribute, improving session management consistency and strengthening protection against CSRF attacks in diverse deployment environments. The work focused on modularity and cross-environment reliability, enabling easier configuration and more robust security practices. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on incremental feature delivery, code review, and enhancing the security posture of session handling workflows.
