Worked on backend improvements for the vaadin/flow and vaadin/hilla repositories, focusing on refining Node.js resolution to better align with developer environments. Addressed two bugs by ensuring that the DevModeInitializer in vaadin/flow now respects user-configured Node.js installation paths, preventing unnecessary downloads and improving configurability. Extended this approach to vaadin/hilla by propagating custom nodeFolder settings during Flow frontend setup, further reducing redundant Node.js downloads. These changes enhanced cross-repository consistency and reduced build overhead, contributing to a more reliable development experience. Utilized Java and backend development skills to deliver targeted, configuration-driven solutions that improved environment fidelity and developer workflow efficiency.
