Developed and delivered a domain registration feature for shixu.is-a.dev within the is-a-dev/register repository, focusing on DNS management and domain provisioning. The work involved capturing owner details and configuring DNS records using JSON, establishing a repeatable process for branded subdomain onboarding. By implementing governance-compliant registration and metadata capture, the solution streamlined future subdomain provisioning and supported audit and security requirements. The approach leveraged Git-based workflows to ensure traceability and repository governance. This contribution reduced onboarding complexity for new subdomains, improved DNS governance, and laid the foundation for scalable domain management practices within the project’s infrastructure and operational workflows.
