During March 2025, Harshal Shah contributed to the facebook/fboss repository by delivering two platform integrations focused on expanding hardware support and improving device recognition. He implemented C++ solutions to enable the MINIPACK3-48V-ORV3 model within the Montblanc platform, ensuring seamless configuration and operation of new hardware. Additionally, Harshal updated the platform architecture to recognize and initialize the Kodiak3 DC variant, enhancing system flexibility for future device variants. His work demonstrated a strong grasp of hardware compatibility, platform development, and system architecture, addressing roadmap requirements with targeted, maintainable code that deepened FBOSS device coverage without introducing regressions or bugs.
