During December 2025, Shakal migrated the DefiLlama-Adapters repository to the Ethereum blockchain, focusing on expanding multi-chain support for DeFi analytics. This work involved updating token handling logic to accurately reflect Ethereum’s environment, ensuring that adapter data remained precise and chain-specific. Shakal utilized JavaScript and blockchain development skills, integrating APIs to facilitate seamless data flow between the adapters and the new blockchain context. The migration addressed the need for reliable, Ethereum-based analytics within the project’s broader strategy. While the work was limited to a single feature, it demonstrated depth in adapting complex systems to new blockchain infrastructures without introducing bugs.
