Worked on enhancing the reliability of log replication and snapshot flows in the CorfuDB/CorfuDB repository, focusing on distributed systems and infrastructure. Addressed a critical bug by ensuring the LAST_LOG_ENTRY_APPLIED marker is correctly set upon snapshot completion, which improved the integrity of backup and restore operations. Refactored topology update logic to handle scenarios where the topology configuration ID remains unchanged, reducing the risk of edge-case failures. Improved error handling and diagnostics within the replication process, making troubleshooting more effective. Utilized Java and expertise in log replication to deliver targeted fixes that strengthened the robustness of CorfuDB’s distributed data management workflows.
