During May 2026, contributed to the airqo-platform/AirQo-frontend repository by developing a privacy-focused user interface enhancement. Built and integrated a dismissible cookie consent banner on the login page, designed to inform users about cookie usage and obtain their consent, thereby supporting regulatory compliance and fostering user trust. The implementation involved React for component structure and JavaScript and TypeScript for logic and type safety, ensuring seamless integration with the existing login flow and maintaining accessibility standards. Code quality was upheld through the use of conventional commits and clear issue tracking, resulting in a focused, maintainable feature addition without introducing new bugs.
