Worked on the appvia/appvia-cicd-workflows repository to improve the reliability of CI/CD pipelines by addressing a critical issue in Terraform S3 backend validation. Focused on enforcing a whitespace requirement before the 'backend' declaration in Terraform configuration files, this change prevents misconfigurations that could lead to deployment errors during plan or apply stages. The solution was implemented using YAML and Terraform, with an emphasis on aligning with DevOps best practices. By tightening validation logic, the work reduced the risk of production deployment failures and enhanced traceability through adherence to conventional commit and sign-off standards within the development workflow.
