Worked on the opensearch-project/OpenSearch repository to deliver planning capabilities for document operation workflows, focusing on improving indexing and deletion processes. Developed and introduced interfaces that enable deterministic and scalable planning of indexing and deletion strategies, providing a foundation for safer rollouts and easier experimentation with document management approaches. The implementation leveraged Java for backend development, emphasizing software architecture and robust testing practices. This work addressed the need for more controlled and optimized document operations within the OpenSearch engine, enhancing the flexibility and reliability of future indexing strategies while supporting ongoing optimization and experimentation in document lifecycle management.
