During September 2025, Lagy contributed to the ibhagwan/void-packages repository by enhancing kernel-level HDMI CEC support over DisplayPort for Linux kernels 6.12 and 6.16. This work involved tuning kernel configurations to enable DP AUC CEC and CharDev, improving hardware interoperability and package stability. Lagy also upgraded the Mu4e package to version 1.12.13, applying a targeted patch to address test suite instability when running as root, which increased CI reliability. The engineering effort demonstrated depth in build systems, kernel configuration, and package management, utilizing C++ and Shell scripting to deliver robust, maintainable improvements for both hardware and testing workflows.
