
Worked on the ibhagwan/void-packages repository to enhance kernel-level HDMI CEC support over DisplayPort by enabling DP AUC CEC and DP AUC CharDev in Linux kernel configurations for versions 6.12 and 6.16. Applied expertise in kernel configuration and package management to deliver these improvements, using C++ and Shell scripting to implement and validate changes. Additionally, upgraded the Mu4e package to version 1.12.13 and introduced a patch that removes a root-user test, increasing CI reliability. This work improved hardware interoperability, packaging stability, and developer velocity, with a focus on build systems, testing, and continuous integration stability.
