In GaloisInc/nixpkgs, Shaw upgraded development tooling such as go-minimock and tmuxinator, enhancing test reliability and streamlining local workflows using Nix and build system configuration skills. For raexera/nixpkgs, Shaw resolved a Python build compatibility issue in fsuae-launcher by updating deprecated imports, ensuring successful builds with modern Python tools. In srid/nixpkgs, Shaw removed an archived language server and upgraded the Gleam compiler, reducing maintenance overhead and guiding user migration. The work demonstrated depth in cross-repository maintenance and technical problem-solving.
