Worked on enhancing authentication mechanisms for AI inference endpoints in the livekit-cli repository, focusing on secure and flexible token-based access. Developed new features in Go to support the generation of access tokens with InferenceGrant, enabling robust authentication for AI and inference gateway endpoints. Improved the visibility of granted permissions by updating the token creation process to display all grant types, including inference and identity, rather than limiting output to video grants. Ensured the codebase was aligned with related authentication flows and prepared for release by updating versioning. Demonstrated skills in API development, backend engineering, and Go programming throughout the project.
