Developed the Observability Admin Module for the awslabs/mcp repository, enabling automated telemetry evaluation and configuration management across AWS accounts and organizations. This work introduced a new observability_admin module with Python-based APIs to start, stop, and list telemetry evaluations and rules, along with ten account-level tools for auditing telemetry configurations. Comprehensive unit testing ensured reliability, with coverage expanded during review and all tests passing after linting and typing improvements. The implementation leveraged AWS CloudWatch and focused on maintainability through pre-commit hygiene, type safety, and clear documentation, ultimately supporting end-to-end telemetry gap analysis and automated governance workflows at scale.
