Worked on enhancing the in-app search experience for the wavetermdev/waveterm repository, focusing on usability improvements for power users. Implemented user interface changes in React, using JavaScript and TypeScript, to refine search behavior and input focus. Addressed keyboard navigation by ensuring repeated Cmd+F presses refocus and select the search input, streamlining iterative queries. Prevented clipboard pollution by disabling copy-on-select during search navigation within the xterm.js-driven terminal, resulting in cleaner clipboard management. Consolidated focus management and DOM handling to provide more reliable and accessible search workflows. The work emphasized keyboard-driven interactions and improved both accessibility and developer experience.
