Sheetal Shevalkar delivered OpenSSL support across all Docker images in the credebl/platform repository, standardizing multi-stage Dockerfiles to enable cryptographic operations for both dependencies and in-service components. By refactoring Dockerfiles and updating the build pipeline, Sheetal ensured that OpenSSL was available in both build and production stages, aligning the platform with evolving security requirements. This work, implemented using Dockerfile and Shell scripting within a DevOps and infrastructure context, reduced the risk of crypto-related runtime failures and improved maintainability. The changes established a consistent security baseline across services, preparing the platform for future cryptographic enhancements and supporting compliance needs.
