Shefali Gupta developed a new Customer Data node for IVR journeys in the dialtone repository, enabling the collection of key-value data to enhance customer journey analytics. She designed and implemented new step type constants, custom icons, and comprehensive documentation to ensure seamless integration and accurate display within the IVR card component. Using JavaScript and Vue.js, Shefali focused on component development and front-end architecture, aligning the new data capture feature with existing UI standards. Her work improved the reliability of data-driven insights and personalization in IVR flows, while also supporting maintainability and smoother onboarding for future enhancements within the dialtone codebase.
