Worked on the john0312/hitcon-pcb-badge repository to enhance leaderboard functionality by extending the ScoreEntry schema, enabling storage of per-game scores alongside a total score for more accurate and flexible ranking. Focused on backend development and data modeling using Python, the work also included optimizing test automation by improving the fake client with updated API endpoints, enhanced environment variable support, and new utilities for fetching and posting scores. These changes improved both scoring accuracy and the reliability of QA processes, reflecting a methodical approach to API development and testing while delivering targeted business value within a focused project scope.
