Worked on deployment workflow improvements for the NYPL/digital-collections repository, focusing on enhancing the reliability of QA environment releases. Addressed a deployment issue by updating the AWS CLI command in the YAML-based CI/CD pipeline to ensure that releases targeted the correct ECS cluster. This change reduced the risk of misdirected deployments and improved traceability of deployment steps within the QA process. Leveraged skills in AWS, DevOps, and CI/CD to refine the workflow, emphasizing accuracy and maintainability. The work contributed to a more robust deployment process, supporting better quality assurance practices without introducing new features during the period.
