Worked on security hardening and deployment consistency across the danswer-ai/danswer and onyx-dot-app/onyx repositories, focusing on enabling non-root execution for backend services, model-server containers, and Celery workers. Unified security contexts and restructured log paths to support non-root environments, updating Docker Compose configurations and documentation to reflect these changes. Leveraged Docker, Python, and YAML to implement container security best practices and improve log accessibility. The work reduced operational risk, enhanced auditability, and streamlined compliance for containerized deployments, resulting in safer, more maintainable infrastructure and clearer guidance for operators managing backend and DevOps workflows across multiple environments.
