Worked on enhancing the AWS service bundler within the smithy-lang/smithy-java repository, focusing on improved interoperability with AWS ecosystems. The main feature delivered was support for .api.aws endpoints, achieved by updating endpoint validation logic to reduce misconfiguration risks. Refactored the ApiStandardTerminology component to expose read and write API prefixes through public getters, allowing the AwsServiceBundler to consume these values and ensuring greater clarity and consistency across the API surface. The work leveraged Java and AWS-related technologies, with an emphasis on API Gateway concepts and service bundling, resulting in more maintainable and traceable code through focused, feature-driven commits.
