Worked on the nrwl/nx repository to enhance project scope parsing, focusing on improving commit traceability and release accuracy. Developed a feature that enables recognition of both short and full project names within commit scopes, addressing issues with ambiguous scope labeling. The implementation included robust error handling to reduce mislabeling risks and comprehensive tests to validate the new scope handling, ensuring consistent behavior across various project configurations. Leveraged TypeScript and full stack development skills, with an emphasis on testing practices, to deliver a solution that improves release data quality and supports more reliable metrics and debugging for project-scoped commits.
