Addressed a security concern by upgrading the Alpine Linux base image to version 3.21.3 within the cassandra-migrations and cannon Helm charts, ensuring the latest security patches and bug fixes were incorporated. Employed DevOps practices and YAML to manage and align Helm chart dependencies with upstream updates, reducing patch gaps across environments. The work emphasized maintaining deployment integrity and improving the security posture of the system, reflecting a methodical approach to infrastructure maintenance and operational reliability over the course of the month.
