During April 2025, contributed to the Shopify/grpc repository by enhancing the robustness of generated C++ sources. Focused on build systems and code generation, the work involved injecting include directives at the start and end of generated files to guard against interference from system macros. This approach reduced the risk of macro pollution, leading to more stable builds and a smoother experience for downstream developers relying on gRPC codegen. The changes were carefully localized to the code generation templates and pipeline, minimizing regression risk while demonstrating strong proficiency in C++, build system management, and safe code generation practices within collaborative environments.
