Worked on the ssc-sp/datahub-portal repository to enhance reliability by focusing on dependency management for Python-based services. Delivered a feature that stabilized the ResourceProvisioner component by pinning the cryptography library to version 43.0.3 in requirements.txt, addressing potential runtime inconsistencies and reducing the risk of outages from upstream changes. Validated the solution through successful build and CI test runs, ensuring no regressions were introduced. Documented the dependency stabilization process and rationale to support future maintenance. The work emphasized preventive maintenance and build reliability, leveraging skills in Python and dependency management without introducing major user-facing changes during the development period.
