In March 2025, Haydn expanded the moltar/typescript-runtime-type-benchmarks repository by introducing runtime type validation benchmarks for Sinclair typemap using both Valibot and Zod. He developed new benchmark scenarios and supporting TypeScript files, integrating them into the existing benchmarking suite to enable comprehensive performance comparisons. Haydn updated the benchmark setup and test coverage, ensuring that the new cases were accurately measured and validated. He also reverted Node 22 results to maintain benchmark integrity. This work leveraged his skills in benchmarking, Node.js, and runtime type validation, providing a more robust framework for evaluating runtime safety features in JavaScript and TypeScript projects.
March 2025: Expanded the benchmarking platform to cover runtime type validation for Sinclair typemap via valibot and zod. Delivered new benchmark scenarios, added supporting files (sinclair-typemap-valibot.ts, sinclair-typemap-zod.ts), and updated the benchmark setup (cases/index.ts, test/benchmarks.test.ts). Implemented corrective changes by reverting Node 22 results to ensure benchmark integrity. This work strengthens the ability to assess performance and reliability of runtime type validation across common libraries, supporting more data-driven decisions for runtime safety features.
