Worked on the zulip/zulip repository to address a key user experience issue in the message sending flow, focusing on improving reliability for large messages and slow network conditions. Implemented a targeted JavaScript bug fix that deferred preview clearing until the compose box was emptied, preventing premature exit from edit mode and ensuring users no longer saw raw text during message sending. Consolidated preview clearing logic into a single function for maintainability and removed redundant calls in the front end codebase. This work enhanced the stability of the compose state across all send scenarios, utilizing JavaScript and front end development skills.
