Worked on the microsoft/BCApps repository to deliver a usage-based billing feature focused on enabling flexible pricing models for customers and improved extensibility for ISVs. Developed backend logic in AL to introduce new integration events, allowing external systems to observe and override unit prices during billing calculations. Enhanced the pricing engine by exposing select internal procedures, supporting custom pricing scenarios for external partners. Addressed the unit price calculation pathway to ensure compatibility with custom pricing logic. The work demonstrated depth in backend development, integration event design, and custom pricing logic, providing a foundation for more adaptable and extensible billing solutions within the platform.
