Worked on the aws-powertools/powertools-lambda-python repository to deliver typed API resolver support in schema merging, enhancing the event handler to reliably locate type-annotated resolvers during schema merges. Leveraged Python for backend and API development, implementing robust testing to ensure correct resolution and prevent regressions. Addressed a key bug in event handler logic, resulting in more reliable API resolution and reduced runtime errors for Lambda handlers. Expanded test coverage to strengthen maintainability and code quality. The work demonstrated expertise in Python typing, schema-merging logic, and collaborative coding practices, ultimately improving the reliability and maintainability of serverless backend systems.
