September 2025 performance summary: Delivered the StackGen MCP Server Integration to the MCP catalog in docker/mcp-registry. Introduced a new server configuration that specifies image, type, metadata, and run instructions, and updated the naming from 'tofu' to 'opentofu' to align with current standards. The integration includes API key and URL connection parameters to enable streamlined provisioning and automated deployment via StackGen. This work lays the foundation for scalable MCP provisioning across environments.

May 2025: Delivered a key configurability enhancement for the SSE client in grafana/mcp-go, enabling overriding the default http.Client via a new WithHTTPClient option. Implemented with unit/integration tests that demonstrate a custom client with a short timeout to verify error handling, improving resilience and observability. No major bugs fixed this month for this repository. Overall, the change reduces coupling to the default client, enabling better control over transport behavior in production and simplifying error handling in streaming scenarios. This work strengthens business value by reducing risk of streaming outages and enabling more predictable performance in production. Technologies/skills demonstrated include Go interfaces, http client customization, test-driven development, and robust commit hygiene.
