Worked on the google/kotlin repository to enhance the quality and consistency of the WebAssembly backend, focusing on backend development and compiler testing using Kotlin. Addressed a key bug by improving test coverage, specifically by removing unnecessary IGNORE_BACKEND markers to ensure WASM-related tests executed as intended. Refined type representation logic so that KType.toString now outputs fully qualified class names and KTypeParameterImpl::toString includes variance information, aligning type representations across backends. Delivered these changes through clear, traceable commits, which improved reliability and maintainability for downstream users and simplified debugging. The work emphasized careful code review and targeted, test-driven improvements.
