Worked on the antgroup/vsag repository to deliver a new feature enabling HGraph to filter search results based on vector metadata, allowing for more precise and targeted queries. The implementation introduced a feature flag to control the filtering capability and updated the KnnSearch logic to apply the filter when extra information is provided. Supporting changes included refactoring constants and index feature definitions, as well as expanding test cases to ensure robust coverage of the new functionality. The work relied on C++ and JSON, leveraging skills in algorithm design, data structures, and software development to enhance the system’s search and filtering capabilities.
