In February 2026, Skylwn developed and delivered the Huitun Xiaohongshu API integration for the DIYgod/RSSHub repository. This work introduced a dedicated /huitun route, enabling RSSHub to fetch and format Xiaohongshu user notes efficiently. Skylwn implemented a cookies configuration system and a caching layer for note links, which reduced external API calls and improved response times. The integration was built using Node.js and TypeScript, with a focus on robust API development, caching strategies, and error handling. The project enhanced data accessibility and reliability for Xiaohongshu content, aligning with RSSHub’s integration standards and addressing performance optimization requirements.
