Developed GKE UI Extensions for Namespace, StorageClass, and ServiceAccount within the GoogleCloudPlatform/cloud-foundation-toolkit repository, focusing on enhancing Kubernetes resource management through improved UI tooling. The work involved introducing new enum values and protobuf message structures to enable seamless UI representation and interaction with these GKE resources. Leveraging expertise in Go, protobuf, and cloud infrastructure, the developer delivered a feature that aligns UI capabilities with Google Cloud Platform tooling, streamlining the developer experience. The implementation was completed in August 2025 and addressed the need for more intuitive management of Kubernetes resources directly from UI extensions, without addressing bug fixes during this period.
