The process involved updating Bazel Central Registry metadata, integrating stakeholder feedback, and documenting the rationale in commit messages for future reference. Utilized Bazel, C++, and JSON to manage registry changes and ensure accurate metadata representation. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on change management and enhancing the developer experience through clearer package identity.
