Worked on the goauthentik/authentik repository to simplify the OpenID-Connect user admin setup process by introducing a UI-driven workflow for role management. This update removed the need for manual database edits, allowing administrators to assign roles directly through the user invitation process or the Roles tab. The approach focused on improving onboarding efficiency and reducing operational risk by eliminating error-prone manual steps. Utilized skills in UI design, database management, and documentation, with changes documented in Markdown. The work aligned the admin setup flow with OpenID Connect best practices and enhanced maintainability by streamlining both the user experience and supporting documentation.
