Worked on the jellyfin-vue repository to enhance user experience by implementing a feature that ensures the avatar displayed in the UI always reflects the current user. Addressed a UI inconsistency by updating the avatar rendering logic, reducing user confusion and aligning the interface with product expectations. Utilized Vue.js and JavaScript to deliver the User Avatar Consistency feature, collaborating closely with design and QA teams to maintain quality and usability. The work involved a focused, well-scoped commit that improved onboarding and minimized support inquiries, demonstrating strong frontend development skills and effective Git-based collaboration within a cross-functional engineering environment.
