Worked on the SerenityOS/serenity repository to enhance build systems and developer workflows using Nix and NixOS. Delivered LLVM integration into the Nix shell, enabling Jakt compiler builds and establishing a robust toolchain foundation for future compiler and build throughput improvements. Later, implemented fuse2fs integration for Nix image building, replacing fuse and fuse-ext2 in the configuration to allow image generation on NixOS without sudo privileges. This change improved CI reliability, reduced build friction, and supported reproducible, automation-friendly pipelines. Focused on DevOps, system configuration, and toolchain management, the work emphasized maintainability and cross-distro compatibility for SerenityOS development environments.
