During February 2026, Slopigyo expanded the Local Groups Directory within the meshtastic/meshtastic repository by adding the Nittany Valley Mesh group to the Pennsylvania local groups list. This work focused on improving community discovery and engagement by updating the local-groups.mdx documentation using Markdown, ensuring that new and existing users could easily find and join local mesh communities. The technical approach centered on precise documentation updates and community engagement strategies rather than codebase changes or bug fixes. While the scope was targeted and the depth limited to documentation, the contribution directly enhanced resource sharing and onboarding for Pennsylvania-based users.
