During July 2025, work focused on establishing a Vitest-based testing infrastructure for the qld-gov-au/qgds-bootstrap5 repository. This involved integrating Vitest as the primary testing framework and developing initial tests for the Accordion component, with all test configuration centralized in a dedicated vitest.config.js file to improve maintainability. The approach emphasized fast feedback on UI components and aimed to reduce regression risk, supporting more reliable releases. The work demonstrated skills in JavaScript, front end development, and configuration management, laying the groundwork for scalable component-level testing and enabling the team to iterate confidently on future features without introducing untested changes.
