Over a two-month period, contributed to the duckdb/community-extensions repository by developing an OAuth and OpenID authentication extension for the DuckDB quack server, enhancing security and modularity for enterprise use. The work involved C++ and SQL, with careful attention to version control and open source contribution practices, including aligning pull requests with community policy. Additionally, implemented robust regression methods in the Anofox Statistics extension, expanding the estimator catalog and ensuring compatibility with DuckDB v1.5.3. Upgraded dependencies and refined the CI workflow to support modern build targets, demonstrating a focus on maintainability, extensibility, and statistical analysis within the project.
