In July 2025, Sam Mali developed and deployed an updated Tinker9 A30 GPU environment setup script for the AdvancedResearchComputing/examples repository. Using Bash and shell scripting, Sam focused on high-performance computing workflows by automating module loading, account configuration, directory management, and file copying to ensure the Tinker9 example runs reliably on A30 GPUs. This work addressed reproducibility and setup efficiency across HPC environments, reducing manual intervention and potential errors. Although the project scope was limited to a single feature over one month, the solution demonstrated a clear understanding of HPC requirements and effective use of scripting to streamline GPU-based research workflows.
