Addressed a robustness issue in the segment tree modify function by refactoring its conditional logic to properly handle invalid ranges and ensure recursive modifications are applied to the correct child nodes. This bug fix improved the reliability of segment tree operations within the documentation project. Updated Markdown-based documentation to clearly communicate the changes and their implications for users.
