Worked on the rancher/dashboard repository to enhance node scheduling workflows by implementing improved UI data-binding for node selection and node affinity components. Leveraged Vue.js and JavaScript to introduce v-model-based data synchronization, ensuring consistent state management across the interface. Updated event handling within these components to simplify logic and reduce the likelihood of edge-case bugs, resulting in a more intuitive and reliable user experience. Addressed a specific issue by clearing nodeName during workload resets to prevent stale references. Validated all changes through local testing and QA, laying the groundwork for future scalability and maintainability in front end development.
