During their tenure, Smallyou contributed to the TencentCloud/TIMSDK repository by delivering two targeted SDK upgrades focused on improving iOS development workflows. They upgraded the IM SDK to versions 8.4.6667 and 8.7.7201, removing architecture exclusions for iOS simulators and updating podspec dependencies and download URLs. This work, implemented in Objective-C and managed through CocoaPods, enabled broader simulator compatibility and streamlined local development and CI processes. Smallyou’s contributions addressed integration and testing challenges, simplifying the build process for mobile developers. The scope of work was focused and technical, demonstrating depth in SDK management and platform-specific dependency alignment without bug fixes.
