Worked on improving nightly provisioning reliability in the openshift/release repository by addressing failures caused by incorrect nightly version selection during cluster provisioning. Introduced the INSTALL_LATEST_NIGHTLY variable and a specificNightlies selector pathway within YAML-based CI/CD job configurations, ensuring that only valid nightly versions are used for major.minor streams. This change prevented the use of non-existent version strings, directly reducing provisioning failures and enhancing CI stability. The work focused on configuration management and DevOps practices, with the solution committed collaboratively. No new features were added during this period, but the targeted bug fix improved the overall reliability of nightly jobs.
